As per title, anyone any experience with said car (1996 model). Have seen one which I am interested in so looking for positives and negatives

114 bhp, pretty slow, would get the GT as the insurance isnt that much different.

 

Few years ago i owned a 94 2.0 gt-was a good car-had it 4 years and apart from routine servicing (which aint cheap at toyota garages) it was fine-as they say its a toyota so it runs sweet for many many years i would imagine-i doubt u could go far wrong with one tbh.

Like J4CKO said, the 1.8ST is really pretty flat to drive... and the 2.0GT would be a much better option.
