Default E36 M3 OR M3 EVO?

Does anybody no what the differences there are between the E36 M3 convertible and the E36 M3 evo convertible? I no the normal M3 is 286bhp and the evo is 320ish. But is it noticable on the road? Does anyone no of any videos of both of them together or have any performance stats for both?

Also other than perfomance are there any other differences? Might be selling my v7 sti to buy one. Can't afford the petrol using mine!

the Evo is a 3.2 compared to the normal M3's 3.0. The performance difference is quite noticable i found as i owned both, although i had more problems with the evo where as the M3 was faultless

you got the twin vanos problems with the evo, as previous reply, the m3 is way more reliable compared to m3 evo.

If i remember correctly there was a similar thread a while ago, apparently evos closer to around 300 than 321 figure given by bmw,so if thats the case wouldn't have thought much in it on road, awesome motors tho,i love em!
