Question

I currently run an 89 911 3.2 cab, and a 91 Saab t16s. Since playing with the Saab it's got much more midrange torque than the 911 so I'm now questioning the sense in keeping both. If I sell them both I'll have a good 20k to spend. Question is on what?

I was dead set on an Evo 6 but since doing some investigation they cost ££££'s to tweak, like £1000/10bhp I don't call that good value.

I want 300+ reliable bhp.

So the options are:

Sod it, Evo 6 anyway.
De limit an M3 Evo.
Supercharge the 911.
Cerbera 4.5 (yeah i know I said reliable... but 420bhp!)

Anything else you can suggest.....

Elise too small, Galant looks too boring, RS4....depends on your taste

i say Evo6, if you were to spend around £1500 then you would be looking at about 330bhp(decat exhaust, air filter, boost controller).Only thing then the brakes would need upgradig

ya pays ya money......

Thanks for the replies, of course I'd love a Skyline but don't they cost even more to tweak than Mitzers?

Elise is a bit small, had one in Australia

Rs4, could never tire of all that power, but hasn't it been said they're a bit un-involving to drive? I've never driven one so I don't know. I raced one in France in the 911 coming back from Le-Mans this year and it was certainly quick!! and sounded awesome on full chat!

Reading this board has also got me thinking about Cossie *******, they seem to offer a lot of bang for your buck, if they keep going...

Will let you know what I decide.

A friend of mine runs an Evo 6 and his only mods are an air filter and exhaust. He recently did a RR session at Well Lane and managed 299bhp.

Impressive stuff.

I saw a web page a while back belonging to a guy who upgraded his audi S4

Twin K04'S, Milltek exhaust, H+R coilovers, Porsche 993 turbo brakes, I think it had something like 380bhp and over 400 lbs of torque and it was cheaper than an RS4

The guys at AMD did the work, if you get a audi Check them out www.auto-and.com
