Test driven new model CRV's.
This morning i had a test drive in a top of the range diesel CRV (EX model) which had 19" blaze wheels. However, when i drove it, it pulled to left even when driving almost in the centre of the road so i don't think it was the camber which was causing it to do this. This afternoon i went to another Honda dealers and test drove the middle of the range CRV diesel (ES model) which had the standard 17" alloys and this also pulled to the left to a lesser extent. Are there any peeps on this forum who are in sales in a Honda dealership ? i would be interested to know whether they have any knowledge of this problem.

Hi Andy, yes i did and neither had come across this problem so far. However, i have just received a phone call from the dealer i visited this morning who has been making enquiries with Honda and was told that Honda are aware of the problem. Apparently, a four wheel alignment is required to correct the fault. The dealer i visited this morning is going to do the alignment on the exact car i tested and i will hopefully be able to test it again at the weekend.

HI
My wife has just bought an ex-demo 2.0 CRV EX petrol - with the optional safety pack (HID lights, CBMS and the ACC etc!)
Awesome car for the money - does not pull to the left!
Our only gripe - is it is a bit sluggish - this applies to the petrol we bought and also to the diesel.
The petrol one does shift - but in typical Vtec 16 valve fashion - you need to rev the engine a bit!
Cheers
