Audi Q7 beats new X5 and Facelifted Cayenne
1st Place: Audi Q7 463/600
The Audi Q7 is an allround balanced SUV. It's reasonably sporty, comfortable, the load and tow capacity are good.
2nd Place: BMW X5 446/600
The BMW focuses too much on dynamics and has a poor load and tow capacity, not ideal for the busy family life. Comfort is so-so. The most fuel efficient of the trio with 14.6 L / 100 km average.
3rd Place: Porsche Cayenne 436/600
The Porsche Cayenne was the sportiest, best-handling and fastest (6.8 seconds 0-100 km/h) but also the least comfortable and has an extreme appetite for gasoline. High costs at an unpractical fuel consumption mean last place. This despite having the best offroad characteristics.

2 new ones in my work car park - while I think they are the only good looking SUV, they are about the size of a family saloon inside?!

I like the Q7 - not as practical as the new Disco though ... - if offered a choice I would be hard pushed to choose...
But the Cayenne turbo 0-60 in 1/2 a second fastest moving block of flats on the planet - I'd have to go with that I think

That test was done by the German mag "Autobild" wasnt it?, everyone over here calls it the bullsh*t VW/Audi mag, no matter what they test against them VW/Audi will always win.

X5 beat the Q7 in Autocar a couple of weeks ago.
I'm struggling to decide whether to go for the X5 or Q7 just now. Had the old model X5 diesel sport last night for a try and got the Q7 again next weekend.
X5 is leading at the moment - but Q7 is better value cause you get more spec as standard than the BMW.
Tried the Touareg today - didn't like it at all...
