Has anyone noticed a load of cameras between J2 on the M6 North bound and the M42????????????????????????????? and also prep on Southbound??? they look like specs but not sure.........

any info greatly appreciated as i do this journey every day..................

Heading north today and saw the same cameras. Specs alright, but no current limit in the immediate area. Also an empty specs post there, so they may be moving the roadworks to that area. Least I hope so as I was doing a bit going through the first camera!

If there is more than one lane open, just keep switching lanes before each camera

 

It's a smart old computer, numptie If it sees you in one lane and then it sees you in another lane, it still knows its seen you!

Better just to tailgate lorries and vans passed the scameras so it can't see you at all

 

YEP theres lots of road works happening on there all the way down the m6! so there enforcing the 40 mph limit so if your heading down the m6 be prepared for traffic i was stuck on it yesterday morning for hours! during 11pm to 2 am

that site has actually got some info WRONG!!
I'm in Notts. and that site says the A610 is 40mph - NO, it's a 30!!!
Ring road is 40mph NOT 30!
A46 is NOT 40 -50 mph, it's 60mph - single carriageway with a National limit sign!
Not sure which part of the A52 has a 40 mph limit, but the bit near me with the SPECS is a National speedlimit dual carriageway - therefore 70mph in a car!

 

E-mail them and highlight the errors then, they do respond and are quite helpful.

I e-mailed them some years back when the Specs hoax e-mails were doing the rounds and got a human reply

 

They're getting as common as punctuation marks
