Default Help with pug 306 please.

Having a nightmare with a 306 xsi, all 3 near side indicators are stuck on!

If anybody has any suggestions I would be very grateful, I'm close to taking a hammer to it!

Cheers Manny.

Could try the peugeot sports club forum (if it's still running).

I'd try testing the circuit to make sure there isn't a short that is keeping them on

With the old pugs try this -

1st - Check the rea light cluster for signs of damage (mine was burnt)

2nd - replace indicator stalk and hazard button under heater controls.

This should sort it out.

I read about indicator probs on the 206s which was caused by the indi stalk sticking and giving poor contacts - may be the same with the 306?

cheers guys,

i have checked the relay but this didnt even turn off the lamp when i removed it.

The lamps remain lit unles I disconnect the battery or the large 60a fuse!

will look into the earth, stalk and rear cluster when the daylight returns.

Manny.

if they stay on when flash relay removed sounds like the hazard switch at fault
does it do it with ignition off aswell as on?
