Default Anyone got a tyre factory??????

For those who know me ive busted yet another tyre and rim today!!!!!!!

I have a 6 month old BMW 6 series cab with the most massive tyres ever and 20" alpina wheels.

In the 6 months of ownership i have taken a chunk out of the front tyre and rim, the rear has blown out and today guess what????????

Yeah ive done it again so if anyone owns a tyre company please email me as i think i will be a valued client LOL

BMW 6 series ?

Bad luck on the blowouts but dont expect too much sympathy !

My Saab with its baloon like tyres can be hammered over just about anything, rides well and the tyres are cheap, fashion dictates that cars nowadays have 30 section rubber which is pretty much useless (and uncomfortable) in the urb an environement, plus the biggest wheel option is rarely the best one for handling.

I spoke to an Audi dealer who said almost without exception, every TT they get back as part ex needs the wheels either refurbed or replaced.

You bought a 6 series, no wonder you are damaging wheels and tyres as it's patently obvious you can't see

Wasn't as 'patent' to me... I quite like the 6-series.

Yeah I'm just teasing really, it's not to my taste, but I tend to be 5 years behind everyone else anyway

I have a 2003 Scoob for daily use and am just taking delivery of a 2001 M5 for some fun. Have a DC2 ITR in the garage, but need to sell it really as it is SORNed right now.

Damaged the offside front first by trying to park on a kerb!!!

Second on just blew out offside back, luckily i was slowing down at an island.

Yesterday........ drove into my uncles block paving kerb by accident!!!!! Sort of misjudged where it was lol.

So its been a pretty expensive 6 months in replacement tyres, not to mention how much its gonna cost to get the wheels repaired!!!!!!
