Evening folks,

I'm toying with the idea of buying a 06 Vectra SRI Turbo 1.8.

Seems like a lot of car for the money.

Anyone here got one or had experience of owning one?

Any comments welcome.

if you are considering buying a vectra just bear in mind that vectra's depriciate a lot quicker than other cars as they are aimed at the fleet market
so you could lose a fair bit of money on it
apart from that the spec is good on them and the reliability is a lot better than when this shape was first launched in 2002 they had mid life face lift in 2005 so could be close on having a new model launched which could also have a bearing on resale value

If you mean the 2.0lt 16v turbo 100 edition then they are suppose to be a good bit of kit for the money. The engine is based on the astra/zafira engine Z20let but its got a smaller turbo and different management, approx 175bhp. I had the 2.2 direct sri navi which had the full leather, sat nav a/c 19" vaux alloys and I bought it for £11999 and sold it about 6 months later so I could buy my Focus ST225, It wouldn't sell at first and I ended up getting rid for £7700. Just note that you will lose money on it so i would only buy another if I was to keep it and run it into the grand has to speak.
