Default Chrysler 300C SRT-8

As above, anyone got any experience of these..?

And I don't mean the regular ones, I specifically mean the SRT-8.

Looks like fun to me....

Poor build quality and you would look like a gangster while driving it

Alright mate

I went ot go have a look at the 3.0 oil burner last week, but they only hand the tourer. But they did have a nice SRT-8 in the Showroom.

From outside it did look stunning. Specially for the £32,000 price tag, really did look twice that.

UNTILL... I got inside.

After sitting in the enormous cabbin made from old cheap plastic parts i was massivly disapointed. The centre console isnt too bad, but the Sat nav looked so cheao and nasty it was untrue.

Also all the Window Buttons, heating etc looked like there where out of a 1985 Escort.

The leater seats looked terrible too imo..

Id been told they wheret great inside, but it was very very disapointing.

The 3.0 Diesel was at the top of my list of new cars as there was a decent one year contract hire deal. But after sitting in the top of the range i wouldnt eve consider it.

Fair Do`s i never drove it, and im sure the 6.1 is loads of fun, but id pass.......by miles and mile and mile

BUT... Its the disapointment from when youve seen it from the outside. Know about the 6.1. the 20" Chrome alloys. Bently Grill.. But then you get inside and its like WTF!!!

Tbh if i was spending that much money i know after a while id **** me off.

What you have to remember is that was probably designed in 96' not 05' like the Chrysler effort, things have come a long way in ten years , well not from Chrysler obviously.

couldn't agree more and the new age ones aren't that much better. BUT a grotty Classic interior will cost you £6k whereas the grotty Chrysler one is £32k.

interior looks nice to me ,but whatever you cant have everything for only 32 grand ,how much would the equivalent merc be ?
even if its not the best interior ,when you consider the car as a package its cheap imo, what else could you get brand new to compete for the same money?

Surely if you were into that kind of size motor and money bracket, the monaro VXR is worth a look?

Trust me, the interioir in the car is terrible.. Its not a case of a merc would cost more, that cause its a Merc. The fact is the interior isnt acceptable..

It would grate at you daily.. Looking at your "Bentley looking" 6.1 litre saloon, only to get in and feel like your in a transit. I really does have that horrible cheap plastic feel...

Theres nothing else that competes against it though in that price bracket. But this cars all about saying, look at me in this big brash car. I mean if you bought one you must have no care in cars to of settled with an interior like this. Its certainy not a luxury car.
