Is there anything that can be done for more power on my Accord R?
The only mods I can see for it are an airbox for £900 !! and a titanium exhaust for £1600 !!! with no mention of power gain.
May have to get somnething with a turbo at this rate.

Father, I think you can get a Vtec controller too which means you can change the point that the Vtec Cams come in.
Have at look at this one, probably around £400, if its the same price as the Fuel Controllers and boost controllers...

Looks damn cool if you ask me Cheaper ones with smaller screens are probably available.

Otherwise I know there is a light pressure turbo conversion available for the integra type R gives about 240bhp from 1.8. I guess if they do one for the Accord it will probably give 250 - 260 bhp... Still only FWD though so you might want some Race Logic Traction Control if TC's not fitted to Accords.

Thumbs up

Father Jack, try asking the question on the Honda bbs, there are quite a few ATR owners.

www.honda-r.org.uk then click on board

I know Jacksonville are doing a Supercharger which will be with us in the New Year.

Thanks chaps - I had heard of the supercharger route for the Integra, but you have to bin the vtec so kinda defeats the point of having one. Will try the 'onda bbs.

Cheers

yeah - you can & there's plenty you can do. Talk to Mardi Gras @ Silverstone, or check out http://www.mardigras.co.uk/ and the Honda / Mugen performance parts catelogue (hide your credit cards first ) Cossie piston, high lift cams, etc, etc. They are the boys when it comes to Hondas.

The other guys are GR Motorsport in Towcester - www.grmotorsport.co.uk dont know them personally but there are a couple of old boys with ITR's whom i've met at track days that raved about them.

Good luck...

there's the vortex super charger kit, the american ad states that
the kit adds another 95bhp on to the b16a engine. The pics looks amazing but articles on protypes did produce 120bhp on top but it melted pistons. It seem to be available now so it should be reliable.
