Road tax..

Road tax..
Bit of advice please guys..
I brought a new car privately but I am yet to receive the logbook/registration form.
Tax is due at the end of the month and haven't received the reminder in the post either. I have the green new keepers slip and totally trust the previous owner so not worried that he didn't send it to the DVLA.
Basically - any idea how I can buy tax for it? Take the new keepers slip and pick up the vehicle licence form in the post office or is there some other way I should do it? Apply for new registration document?
Many thanks
Ross

Thinks theres a form you need to fill in as well (application for road fund licence, or some such. The post office will have it)
