The Itallian Gallardo Old bill cars really do exist, cousin is a copper down there. They are not used for general patrol though, the are normally publicity but have been pressed into duty as High speed organ and blood delivery when airtransport is not an option.

It was at the Essen motor show last week being shown off at the police stand. Very impresive car yet the speedo only goes up to 160mph.
