Isuzu Denver Rodeo Pick Up
wondering about swapping my CTR for a 3.0 D Rodeo Pick Up..has anyone had any experience of them ?
we need something to lug the mountain bikes and hound about in, and the CTR is in really nice condition, I don't really want to mess it up..
the isuzu seems to have a lot more room inside than the L200 and navara, which I struggle to get in to (height wise, not fat wise)
cheers..

Depends on what age Rodeo. The new ones aren't are touch on the L200 or the Navara. I had one on an extended test drive for a couple of days - man, what a crock of ****e it was. DEAD slow, noisy, uncomfy, VERY agricultural feel to the whole thing!...not to mention a thirst like George Best .
I eventually opted for the new L200 Animal and I'm quite happy with it.
How tall are you - I'm 6' 4"" and 16 stone and have absolutely no problem getting in or out ( had a CTR once and found that more difficult, and a 106 Gti, now that was a sight to see )
I opted for the L200 over the Nav 'cos there's more leg room and the seats aren't as upright in the back = less moaning from the kids

hmm.. got one on saturday for an extended test..
was just reading how they got 870 odd miles from one tank in the 3.0 td (52mpg)
was refering to the old shape nav and l200 (new ones are a bit out of my price range) i'm 6'5 btw..
dont really want to pay anymore than 11,500
cheers, alex..

rodeo was very good, the bed was too small to fit my bike in without removing the front wheel, which was annoying..
however, pulled quite well, and was only really held back by the speed of the changes from the auto box.. once you get it going it cruises happily at 80-90, and was very quiet and comfy, the handling was pretty impressive too (i was expecting it to wallow around quite alot, but it was very positive)
there is also a PPP for the truck which adds 35bhp, for £750.. would be interested to see what difference that made to the overall package..
would be very tempted if one came up at the right price !!
