Smile Gone and bought an Accord Type-S

My lease was up on the Bora 150 PD Sport (145kmiles in 3 years) and I have been looking for something reliable and different - therefore the purchase.

I'll be doing fewer miles and wanted a better handling car (not difficult) with a touch of class. Anyone got experience of these cars?

MY03, 45kmiles, one owner, Silver with 17" alloys.

Are you buying your own car or leasing again, is it private of company?

I'm buying the car from a Honda Dealer, they showed me some figures on a typical contract hire / monthly installments, but the APR alone was far too much.

My company scheme allows either a Company vehicle where I would pay the BIK for fuel and vehicle, they also allow a new leased vehicle from a nominated leasing company, or I can opt out altogether and buy my own vehicle.

With the 25k business miles I do each year, the fuel allowance and tax benefits along with a generous allowance means I can afford something in the £20k bracket - but I opted for something cheaper and take the increase in salary every month.

All this until the Company car tax rules change again.....
