Not worth selling it. When I bought my beemer I kept the Rover for a few months, just took it off the road. Now the beemer has gone on its holidays for a while the Rover is back in action. Its a throw away car which is worth nothing to anyone other than me.
Oh and it has an electric sun roof

It is funny how Rovers (sometimes deservedly) get a bad press, chances are that it will last three months and will keep you warm and dry during the winter months, if it's the 16 valve it will even be quite nippy.
They are not the most reliable car in the world but it does seem that people will put up with all manner of crap from VW's, BMW's and anything else (remember how bad the early BMW Mini was) and then still say how great they are but will slag a working Rover car just because of what it is.
I know of one that gets no maintenance - ever- and is still going despite being a 1995 car, I know of others with 150,000 miles on.
Mine I have to say, went **** up after about 2000 miles of getting it....

Still got a Rover 216GTi, got the Honda Twin Cam engine and box.... Had it for about 8 months now, hasnt cost a thing, however.... its needing brakes all round and a new handbrake cable, so I'm saving for the bill as it could reach £40 or maybe £50.
Cheers,

When I bought mine I thought it would die in six months. Its still going strong. I had thought about doing a track day in it just for a laugh. I reckon it would lap it up and come back for more.
Mine wont be for sale for a long long time
