Need to trace owner of this Escort Cosworth - Chrisrs
For whatever reason I can't log in to Passionford, but I'm trying to trace this guy.
I've never seen such a quick lap with a passenger and normal road tyres, and I'm pretty sure I could get him in to a race car seat at the Nurburgring with a top team.
His handspeed and car control are pretty damn impressive, how he manages to go so fast with crap lines and masses of understeer I'll never know
If you can help, then let me know.

Exactly. Driving fast and 'racing' are two very different things. Are you a talent spotter?
Just read about James Hunt Junior considering a career in racing....after finishing 4th in his first race at the Silverstone racing school. Funny, when I was there 3 years ago, I got both pole positions and finished 1st and 2nd in my first two races, and nobody offered me a drive!

I didnt really read the post and watched the video and wondered what the fuss was about, he was going fairly quick and seemed commited but the car just seemed to plough straight on.
If it was standard keping up with the M3 was impressive, if it had 500 bhp then it wasnt so impressive.

Davey,
Oooh you bitch LOL.
I can't be bothered to watch it all, which bit has been edited out?
As to understeering, all Cossies do this as standard, it is the absolutely ****e factory suspension dictated geometry, it bump steers both front and rear . You have to completely change the rear beam to stop this . Fords, who'd have one? LOL

Just watched it and realised that it has been sped up fractionally in places . Either that, or the passenger is like Hong Kong Fooey, with hand movements sometimes "swifter than the human eye" .
WHY would you bother? It's not big and it's not clever.

I'd say that was sped up at anything by about 30-60 seconds.
Laughable
