.....you can have it in Orange too.
I love the colour, if your going to buy a car like that, I don't see the point in having a colour that makes you blend in with all the other crap on the roads.

I currently own Porsches and would say that colour is important when it comes to resale although on a "race car" the colour can be changed often in its life.
Still dont like green ones tho. just mho.

Not too sure on the green...but might be one of those colours that look better in real life rather than the pictures.
Wonder why they don't offer the traditional white with blue/red graphics and wheels?

Is this a follow on/replacement model to the 993 RSR model? (whats the difference between an RS model and a road going RSR?) I have been behind an RSR and its the fastest thing accelerating on 4 wheels I have ever seen on the road and since then its been on my hypothetical lottery win shopping list.

I know of someone who has a 993 RS and a 996 GT3 RS, will be interested to see if he adds one of the new ones to his collection

Awsome car. Awsome colours. I woul'nt say no
I saw a certain Herr Rohrl driving one at the ring in August, 1st time it had been out on public. He overtook me just before Bergwerk & proceeded to drive round there sideways :

This is identical to what I was behind, and that pic may even be Paragon Porsche in East Sussex so may be the same car.
Where does the RSR fit in the model range with the GT3 and the RS? Are they as rare as rocking horse poo as i've never seen another one or are they a race car converted to road spec hence lack of them on the road?

Could be.
Some people call a RS Clubsport (stripped out, no carpets etc) an RSR.
I think the 993 RSR had the riveted on arches like the 993 GT2.

Well the one I was behind had a roll cage, very wide arches and a spoiler just the same as the one above with an RSR badge under the spoiler. Like I said above, i've never seen anything accelerate as rapidly as this thing did, it went past a van in traffic with something coming the other way on a very dangerous stretch of road that no other car would attempt, I was following it on my motorbike and I wouldn't have gone for it on the bike let alone a car so I could quite believe its the real deal as its power was stunning
Anyway that pretty much answers it for me then, a race car converted to road spec, I guess that will have cost rather a lot more than I was thinking and explains its acceleration. Would be in my top 3 car choices thats for sure
