what did I do to my 3-door?

Borrowed a small componant from my mates 350bhp Cossie Saff and it totally transformed the car. Any ideas what it is?
It was mounted on top of the intercooler with a wire coming out the top. it also had three hoses coming out the side connecting to the airbox, actuator and turbo.
It turned the car into a monster. wheelspin in three gears then grip at the top end of fourth. the dumpvalve sounded different too.
I have no idea what kind of boost it was making, I was too busy hanging on for dear life!!!
anyone got any ideas?

Yea thats an amal valve. your car should have one as std. what boost was it running? u dont wanna run more than about 15psi on std injectors (need a chip too) as ur car will be dead v.v.soon!

Thats why I only did a 2mile spin. believe that was more than enough to scare the living piis out of me! its got a stage 1 tune with standard injectors so I guess I wont be doing it again. was fun while it lasted though!!!
