Porsche 928 S4 5.0 v8 more than 320bhp,rwd, mint for age, 300zx twin turbo (I know you have had one but not like this?) short wheel base two seater, massive power, loads of spec. Yeah. last big bill in history was for top end overhaul inc. belts was only £3400 (sept 05). but other than that one which is required on these the normal service is on a par with most comparable cars, also averaged 21 mpg in the last 4500 miles with classic insurance and very low depreciation its a better bet than most.

GT4 WRC does not have a bigger turbo to the non WRC, nor does it have water injection! All it has is a few bits that arent activated... anti lag (not able to be activated), Water spray bar and a small bonnet spoiler. In fact WRCs are usually slower due to extra weight lol.

A good GT4 can be had for 4-5k, standard 255bhp up to about 280bhp, very cheap to get to a reliable 300bhp. Rare and unusual cars.

If you want rear drive, then can't go wrong with a Nissan 200sx.

www.sxoc.com

I had an early one, very cheaply tuned it 210bhp and it was loads of fun, and very reliable.

Newer ones start with 200bhp, and can again be very easily tuned to 270-300.

You'll get a good one now for £5k.

23k, standard (bit over tho - £5,950):

65k, modded W-reg for £5,400:

Just to be clear, this information was given to me by previous owner and as he was GT4 owners club member I thought he would know.Do all GT4's have this turbo as it seems huge as a factory fit? Also we have had many GT4's in the past and this one is MUCH faster than them so I had no reason to disbelieve the last owner.http://s100.photobucket.com/albums/m...gAnch=imgAnch1

If there is any doubt over this as stated previously anyone interested should check on owners club website/forum. Thanks

Yip, that is a bog standard CT20-B turbo you have there, same as all ST205s.
As said, some on the dyno as standard have pulled as much as 278bhp, some as low as 229bhp. The Standard turbo is happy with up to about 1.15bar - 1.2bar of boost, does your current car have a boost controller? I would wager the TVIS has been disconnected and the boost increased by an EBC or a Relief valve
Just because someone is a member of the OC doesnt mean an awful lot. A lot of people join just to get the suppliers discounts and dont learn anything further about their car

Does not have boost controller fitted,in dash gauge goes to pretty close on the top but not over, I will check for a boost altering device(dont think there is) and also check for boost pressure on an aftermarket gauge I can borrow from another car. Thanks for that.

Dont know about the anti-lag, but we do have a std uk Terzo turbo and the GT4 feels a fair bit quicker, never had them on the same road but feeling wise I would say the GT4 has it beat.( figures from the O.C. suggests the GT4 has around 20% more power).

The anti-lag on the ST205 was there for homlogation (sp) reasons only and can't be activated without major hassles afaik.

They also have a water spray bar infront of the chargecooler radiator, i beleive this can be enabled, but isn't as standard.

Have a read of this, it give you all the info you need to know..

http://www.st205.net/

I had a non WRC version and didn't like it, was heavy and cumbersome to drive but i guess some people must like them

Nissan GTiR's can be picked up for peanuts now. Just give them a good going over first.
