Any Focus owners had their fan just work on full? Mates Zetec with aircon has no fan unless its on full. Makes him look like he's come to work on a bike. Any ideas?

I think this is something to do with the resistor in the heater unit being fried. The resistor is not needed at full power so it will work then, at all other settings this resistor limits the feed to the desired setting. If fried then no in-between settings.

My mate's Mondeo did this. It was something called the resistor pack

Don't think so, the resistor box is usually seperate to the heater unit, just a case of plugging a new one in I think.

20- 40 quid at a guess.
