Replacing Prelude Vtec

Replacing Prelude Vtec
Hey guys,
Been thinking of replacing my Honda Prelude Vtec in the next 6 months or so. Been thinking of a couple of cars in mind, A Skyline GTS which insurance is pretty high, A Impreza WRX STI insurance from A-PLAN £950 and A mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo which Ive had quates for about £900.
I tend to like rare cars so GTO and Skyline would suite that but evan though Impreza are common they seem to be reliable and can be used as a every day car. What are your views which car handles best which is fastest I prefer the looks of the GTO and Skyline over the Impreza.
Cheers

Hi, I owned GTO TT for years and loved every day, fantastic looks,if old fashioned now, went great and never any probs, avoid any borderline examples as they are very expensive to fix/maintain.Much better to buy the best example possible it will be cheaper in the long run, skyline gts is only of any use if you want to drift it imho. I now own wagon with a few mods much faster than GTO was and less of a handfull in traffic GTOs are wide!!. all these cars are unbelievable value for performance/pound.

I replaced my 93 Prelude VTEC with a 98 Impreza WRX (import) but that was when Impreza's were a bit rarer... To be honest though, I would still say that STI's are fairly rare and you'll find the STI a huge leap up in performance and handling. If you're not convinced then I'd recommend a Supra twin turbo over the other cars you've mentioned as they are better in terms of performance and handling (fact) and also in looks (IMHO).
