P1 International car club
Anyone a member? Looks pretty good. Only hassle is getting to and from Chelsea as delivery costs are £2 per mile!

My mate Nick is a member of P1 and he often comes round in something interesting which draws the children and dads out of the houses like flies to $hit He normally gets his cars on a wednesday evening as better for his points.

Hmmm
I've looked into P1 recently...
You need a fair amount of 'spare cash' to join.
£2500 one off joining fee
£11750-£13500 per year depending on package
Insurance XS £2500-£5000 depending on vehicle.
On average you get the car for 50-70 days per year.
Thats pretty expensive for a car you never own and have limited use (5000 miles per year).
I've thought about it - but also now forgotten about it

I haven't joined it for the following reasons..
1. The delivery charges.
2. The fact you have to book ahead, there's no spontaneity
3. I'd be annoyed to book a nice convertible only for it to p155 down.
4. The fact that if you want it when you really want it (summer/weekend) then you're not going to get many nice cars for long for your money.
5. Having to hand the keys back
