I went to a local classic Ford show at the weekend , heres a few pictures I took, to stirr your memories

Some classics there

I had a number of the 'newer' classics, in order:-

XR3 / XR3i / Escort RS Turbo series 1 then two Escort RS Turbo series 2's.

Loved the escorts - especially those Recaro seats.

Just never managed to get myself a Cosworth

Oh how I remember some of those ...XR3 with the 'lazer 'stripe seats

Lovley pics m8, the Lotus Cortina and the Mexico Escort are stunning. Looks exactly the same as my dads old Mexico, ahh the memories.

My older brother had a Mk1 RS Escort, in the same colours as the blue / dark blue Mexico shown. That was a fantastic motor. Sold it to a bloke up in Yorkshire, and had the last pleasure of driving it all the way up there to drop it off.

He still misses it now
