My cousins car a 2 litre 156 needs a new engine, anyone on here know roughly how much hes looking at and even better the best place to go for one. Cheers Ron WRX

I had a 156 t Spark a while ago, engine was OK but I was told £2000-£3000 to replace the engine if the cam belt had gone, fortunatly it didn't before I sold it. Cheapest option to get one is probably a scrapped car.

It's not an uncommon requirement! Try ringing round the independent specialists. My mate had one done for about a grand I think. (Then he drove it into a tree)

Cheers all, hes getting an exchange one for 1295 but phoning round and the price varied up to 3000 probably more than the cars worth lol
