Looking to the future Mustang, Monaro, Evo or scoob
All of these are pretty cheap to lease or buy, fuel is next to nothing so not an issue.
It will be my main car and a jeep or such for a family car.
Anybody got experience of the new Mustang or Monaro (Lumina)
I want something fun and involving to drive when i want it to be and a motorway cruiser/runaround when i do not want to play.
It must put a smile on my face when i drive it.
4 seats, 4 doors ideal but not essential.
Keep for three years or so.
Any other suggestions?

I like the Mustang but it's LHD only which is a major downside for a daily driver IMO. New Monaro looks like a bog-standard family car, although old one is good if a little bland. Do love the V8 engine in both those though, my 840Ci is a 4.4 V8 and it sounds lush even with the stock (i.e. quiet) exhaust.

Had a Monaro for a year, loved it, tuning parts are easily available and the handling is perfect, I had stainless headers etc fitted and the sound was fantastic. Great for motorway miles and even better at leaving strips of rubber everywhere (sideways of course). I think over here the Mustang is a bit more common....
