Anyone with a Glass's price guide care to help?
Hi,
Before anyone starts this is not sales pitch
I am helping my mum sell her car which is:
A 3dr Fiat Punto, Met Blue, Manual.
2000 X reg
FSH- part dealer/part private
37,000miles
1.2 normal spec
1 owner
VGC, T&T
I have kind of accepted an offer for £1700, but looking on AutoTrader some go for upto £3000 from a dealer so I think I have cocked up
I am having real difficulty placing an asking price, an ideas? Should I just part ex for a Golf GT TDI? or buy private?
Cheers

Few small cars would have depreciated significantly less. I suppose buying a Polo or Fabia new in 2000, would probably mean its worth £3.5k-£4k now (but wouldve cost a little more new), but a Fiesta or Clio would probably have lost as much as the Fiat.
