Default Visiting the Ferrari Factory?

I'm off the alps next week for my annual 2 weeks of insanity on a bike.

On one of my off days I'm planning to take the RS6 on a bit of a pilgrimage through Mont Blanc and down to Maranello to visit Ferrari (and try to blag a place on the list for a 599 )

Anyone been / done this?

Do I need to book?

How much is it?

Can you also visit Fiorano? Drive it? Watch testing?

Anything else I should know?

thanks
Ed

You only get factory visits via an invite from Ferrari, usually with sponsors e.g. Shell, Vodafone etc. or from a dealer. I was lucky enough to visit last year - see here - http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...hlight=ferrari

Mate, I went to Modena a couple of years back when I was staying in Lake Garda. Hired a Smart Roadster for the journey. I didn't make the factory tour as I wanted to look at other places too. Went to Lamborghini and blagged a look around the museum. Best bit was Pagani visit. Tiny industrial unit but very friendly staff who came out and allowed me to sit in the original silver Zonda as tested by our various journalists. Byooooooooodiful!
