Default New Golf TDi

Anybody know when the 170 brake Golf diesel comes out over here. Any pics about, can't find much on the net.

Test drove the R32 last week but looking for something that uses less fuel.

I asked the local VW dealer about the 170 in the Jetta & Passat, they said it was announced last year but back in Feb 06 it was "delayed", and they are still waiting for new instructions.

I can't see the point over a 140 with remap personally. I guess trim levels in the MKV will make some difference but really they could have done better.
