where is the break pad wear indicator light on the dash please?

I'm pretty sure mine never had one and the grinding was the only warning given.. MY00 2.0 Zetec.

mine has pad wear indicators wired into the pads, and the haynes book mentions the indicator warning light but doesnt give a pic or show where on the dash it is

Yea mine had the indicators on the pads too.....

maybe its not wear indicators then....
All I know is that previously I had an ABS sensor out and the abs warning and handbrake lights were on 100%.
sorted.
but recently under hard braking the handbrake light has started to come on, now its almost lit 100% again, not abs light, just handbrake light.
Wondered if it was pad wear indicator at all?
