Default Forester replacement?

I'm looking to replace our Forester with something more economical but don't want to lose practicality.

Here's the list of things I like about the Forester and would want to see in it's replacement:

Big load space
Easy to get the baby in and out of his seat
Very comfortable seats with fold down arm rests
heated seats
air con
massive sunroof
relaxed cruiser

Budget is about £5k and looking for as economical as possible.

I'm sure the rest could be simple, but massive sunroof? Weren't they only introduced a few years ago? I'd say that will be the one that's your sticking point.

There are a few that have double sunroofs though - Renault Espace etc?

Hmm, you're right, I supose I'll have to comprimise somewhere. An Espace is too big.

I guess my choices are going to be pseudo-4x4's or big estates. But what can I get that doesn't have a gazillion miles?

If the Espace is too big, might be worth looking at a Scenic or a Picasso
