Default Honda Accord

Thinking of changing the forester for a 06 Accord, anyone got a new accord, good points, bad points, best model?

Last year we bought an Accord tourer Type-S 2.4

Great car on the motorway sits silently in sixth gear all day....
the engine almost sounds like an electric motor ( in a good way)

and guzzles very little fuel for a 190 bhp motor...

we did a 650 kms on only 50 ltrs which impressed me!

Well built solid car......

I was very impressed with these things while looking for a car for the wife a few months ago. They are a bit expensive but the build quality is outstanding - I would say better than the Mercs/BMWs we looked at. Not as flash but the tourer is very well laid out and the diesel I drove was much nicer to use than the Passat equivalent I'd tried earlier.

Ultimately the wife refused to buy a Honda (though why on earth a Mazda is any better I'll never understand!). Personally I would have gone for the Legacy becuase of the sharper drive (I'm not a fwd fan) but my head said that the Accord was the car to go for.
