MR2 Challenge Race Car
This is my wife's race car that was prepared mostly by my mate Darren and myself.
More details of the build process and other pictures can be found at Karen's website: www.karenphillips.co.uk
Having come from driving a TR7V8, Impreza Turbo, Legacy Turbo, and track prepared Nissan 200SX I thought this little thing might be a bit tame. I was wrong - It's a really quick car that now handles really well and for less then £4K all in it's been a great experience.
You can pick these things up for £2.5K already prepared!!!!
She's racing again at Cadwell Park this coming Sunday/Monday.

RRH - Cheers! Good luck to you too.
WSPD - Series regs. dictate the engine should be standard. Exhaust manifold must remain original but after that it's free. Ours had a Magnex backbox already fitted. The Induction is free as well, so I fitted that monster K&N thing off our Impreza.
The difference the induction kit has made to the car is extraordinary. Feels like we've hit the Nitrous button a la Fast & Furious!!
