As per the thread title, a PD 100 engined Auto Boxed Golf needing a little more power, can it be done or does it cause problems with things like the auto box torque rating, electronic control etc ?

The autobox needs to be remapped also in most cases. This can also be done by the tuner with the correct kit.

AMD Technik and DMS automotive are very higly rated, do a web search, you should have no probs with the 'box but always best to ask

You dont allways need the auto box remapped. I got my A4 2.5tdi mapped and it was fine but the guy did say when we test drove after the map that if there was a problem he would map the box. Got mine done at star performance and he is pretty well known for VAG re-maps.
