what s the maximum u can get out of these?my m8 has a 1.2 16v punto in yellow and recons with his mods can take my 98uk turbo wagon, with dawes, decat and sti panel filter, i know its a joke but if he poured a lot of cash whats the most he can expect?

A stock 1.2 16V has what, 75bhp? The car weighs around 1000kg ... he would need a) nitrous b) a big effing turbo or c) a JATO rocket booster to stay with you beyond 20mph.

You wouldn't see my Citroen AX for dust (and bits falling off ), so i'm sure it can be done on a Punto as well

My younger brother had one of these, the sporting 6spd. Bit of a laugh actually saw an indicated 123mph on in on a healthy downhill stretch.... but it was still a 1.2. regardless of what has been done to it... it's still a 1.2... 1.2, listening lol

My brothers was quite nice until he parked some of it in a field, then some more of it in another field, a bit or 2 on a bridge and some on the road

I have a 2002 Punto sporting and I can safely say that they couldn’t pull the skin off a rice pudding. You’d probably still beat him by running, no need to waste your fuel.

My 87 E Class Estate, 2.5 Diesel can **** all over a 1.2 Punto in a straight line (and round corners, when I'm in the mood), when it's fully laden and trust me when I say, it's not as quick as my own scoob, and that's only a single turbo legacy
