BMW 323 Ci
Hi All
A good friend of mine is torn between a scooby or the BMW 323 Ci, the insurance is a little cheaper on the BMW 323 Ci as you would expect, what sort of MPG Vs the scoob would he get also is the 323 Ci a 6 cylinder or 4 ????
Pros and cons etc.....

My parents old E46 323Ci auto would average 30 mpg in mixed running, 36mpg on a run, and 24mpg stuck solely in town.
As for the engine its a straight 6 170bhp and prefers a diet of super unleaded, on 95 it will retard the ignition, losing power and economy.

i looked at 323ci's a couple of years ago and travelled 120 miles to see 1 advertised on the net. It was at a dealers and comparing it pricewise to other coupes i got the same deal on a 325cise.
The 325 had 192bhp (i think) and was as cheap to insure and does the same mpg (more torque so less revving)
