Default subaru legacy?

apart from being twin turbo - how do they differ to scoobs?

are they as much fun to drive? better? worse?

cost of running etc etc?

seems like for the price of an import scoob thats got loads of miles and generally looks 'ok' you can get a decent legacy...

What year are you looking at? Mine's a 98 registered '97 GT-B, I want to carry bikes so got an estate.

It's extremely rapid, but heavy on fuel use obviously. Mid range acceleration is very good. Lots of space in the back (could easily sleep two), and better equipped than the equivalent year Impreza.

Not as sharp to drive though, weighs 1500Kg. Steering seems too light sometimes, and I find the brakes to be a bit poor if making progress, but perfectly fine during normal driving, it's a tourer rather than a racer after all. Bilstein suspension helps I should imagine, I've not driven a non-B so can't compare.

It's an outstanding sleeper

and compared to an equivalent money impreza, the legacy is charging off into the distance

Looks nice in black, I like those wind deflectors Page suggests it's a GT-B, but it seems to be 'just' a GT.

GT is twin turbo, the B means Bilstein suspension as standard.

Head on over to uklegacy, I've only had mine four
months, infinitely more knowledgable people over there
