Anyone got ot driven an Alfa GT

Thinking os swapping my oil burner mile muncher for an Alfa GT diesel. Reviews all look good, but has anyone got one or driven one - opinions would be good, intererested in whether the claimed mpg of around 45-47 is actually achievable?
