That is absolutely georgeous. I loved my Series 2 RS Turbo and always promised myself a cossie. Got an MY04 STI TSL 333 instead now!!! Fords are lovely when looked after.

That is pretty clean!

Does it not kind of defeat the purpose, tuning the ***** off it, then not being able to drive it?

It would be an absolute crime to put underseal on that though!

Fair enough it's very clean, but would'nt all our cars be if we spent, and I quote ( the cost of 3 RS500's ), and did'nt use them every day ?.
Not being a killjoy but I've got better things to spend my money on, I like my car to look good but not so far as to be obsessed.
Rumour has it, it was up for sale offers in region of £ 21 k if memory serves me right .

I absolutely love Cosworths, but I don't see the point in what he's done. Yes it looks nice, and it's tuned up to 405BHP, but it will be trailered to and from every show, then tucked away in a garage. He'll spend all day Saturday and Sunday washing, waxing, and polishing it, but I bet he hardly ever drives it.

Fair enough if that's how he wants to spend his cash, but it's a bit much if you ask me.

Would I buy it off him though ??? You ******* bet I would. It has to be the best example ever. Only I'd drive it though............... on a weekend, and only when it was dry & sunny.

A mate of mine was well into his 3 dr RS and it was him that told me that the guy who owned said Cosworth was slowly but surely p!$$ing off the RS enthusiasts as he was always winning the comps. as he never seemed to use it and always threw money at it, such a sad life .
It's still for sale on Passionford, it was on Ebay and bids got up to £18,700 but the reserve was never met, wonder why......... .

mind my Scoob is a 1993 import & it's spotless underneath, so on the scale of things, mines not far away......

Seen that car quite a bit, it seems to get rebuilt almost every year and just gets better.

If I had £20k lying around then I'd buy it... underseal it and drive it.

I really like what he's done with the Compomotive MOs, something different.

Cheers,
Grant
