Anyone Bought a Car From These?

They are offering a brand new MX5 Sport for around £16,000 ........ they are nearly £19,000 in the Main Dealers!!
Thats just too big a gap on a sought after car like this, surely?? Or is it a bargain??
I do not believe in such things ............... so, whats the catch? They say that they are UK cars, they were registered on 31st January 2006 so I would be the second owner (that still doesn't account for the big gap in price?)

Píssy, you can get a Mazda MX5 on the Motability scheme for £0 deposit. Effectively a free car for 3 years.
Now I know that's got nothing to do with your original question but to get a car on that scheme with £0 deposit, such as the MX5, is saying something surely?

Buying a new Impreza now is, I think, I mugs game .............
I'm talking about a £19,000 Mazda MX5 Sport which is being offered at £16,000 ....... now, we are talking about a car that doesn't lose money, so, that £16,000 spent will be lessening an already low loss rate - a NEW MX5 is as good a car to sink money into as anything

If you come to sell the car, it will automatically be worth 20% less than a UK car. You know there is a catch here, the catch is this company got them cheaper, and they didn't do that by going to the local dealer.......

Now, yes, we all know that imports do not retain their value like UK cars.
The company are being very cagey over my questions via e-mail ... they keep saying to 'ring our offices' to discuss my requirements! At which point, no doubt, I will be subject to the hard sell!?

I'd be surprised if 16k is the total price if UK dealers are charging 19k for the exact same car. I remember looking into importing a new car a few years back, and when you did all the sums the savings werent nearly as impressive as they first appeared.

Hmmm, nobody in their right mind would want a porshce boxster!
IMO that's an attempt at buying a decent car.........
Although I would never buy an MX5, I can see their appeal, focused and very cheap.
Where you going on holiday this year, love? Did you see this weeks Hello? Oooh, can't believe it! I know! Now, how do you want it cut this week?

Just got this e-mail ....................
"Hi Peter,
All cars are UK supplied and registered. They are not imports"
Now, what do you make of THAT then??
I MUST be missing something ...... the Main Dealers simply cannot be taking that much of a ****, surely to god??
And what do the dealers say? "Sorry Sir, we cannot drop the price, we paid more than we are selling them for!"
They should buy them from these fellas then!!
Help me here, what am I missing???
