Plums!

My old mans nissan micra (2002 1.0 16v) started to overheat a little the last night. Now the problem is that I'm overseas and I don't really know the micra engine bay to well....

Can anyone tell me if they have an expansion tank or do you fill it up directly into the radiator?

Do not know the micra but i do not remember the last time i put fluid directly into the rad on a car since about the ealry 90's.

I would bet it has an expansion trank and the cap will be bright yellow denoting that it is a owner/regular check item.

Make sure he only checks it when it is cold and even put a tea towl over it when he unscrews if not sure incase it 'blows'

Only fill with coolant as well not water.
