Help!! What car around 7k that holds value?!!
Looking for a new car ASAP (this weekend) to commute to work in - around 12k per year.
I want something comfy, quite good MPG and something that holds its value (will sell in a year, so dont want to lose 1000's) Sporty would be a bonus.
Was thinking 2001/2 Audi A4 or BMW 318i/320d ex-fleet, but cant find anything decent about.
Would spend upto 10k for something that is sure to hold value well, and did think about a Lotus Elise, but might be too annoying to commute in.
Anyone got any ideas, or anyone selling anything suitable?!!

Would you not be better going for an older car as depreciation levels off with time. I know the 1st 3 years are worse but it still slows down each year just at a slower rate??

Like sgcooby says, why not conisder something a little bit older so a lot of the depreciation has already occured.
How about a 1996/7 saab 9000 Aero? Good on fuel, up to about 40 mpg, 150mph too....which was nice. £3000 will buy a good one and in a years time you would get most of this back.
