quick boxster question?

hi,
what model yr did the standard boxster get a glass and not plastic rear screen?

was it with the change from 2.5 to 2.7?

Some 2.7s have the plastic.

Don't know why they didn't do a glass one to start with, pretty silly!

2003 model year iirc, so cars from about September 2002 have the glass screen.

As GCollier says MY 2003 - so after Sep 2002.
There is a conversion for the plastic window (not OPC) - making it glass with a heated element.
