Wasn't it EVO that said these look like they can chase 911s yet struggle to keep up with Mondeos?

They sound quite nice though.

I used to have one. It was a lovely car, the second best I've ever owned.
They just need to be 4wd and turbo charged.
Mitsubishi really missed a trick, an Evo version would have been awesome.

The Integra is lighter, and which version was it, manual or tiptronic?
The set up of the car makes a difference to the handling. The Teg is just great straight out the box, the FTO can be made great with some alterations.

An aftermarket turbo has been developed....................

............ It costs around 5 grand.
Not really worth the investment. You can get better cars for that money of purchase price + conversion.

Yup I had a GPX myself, didn't feel anywhere as fast as the 200hp.
With Blitz induction kit it sounded absolutely incredible when the Mivec kicked it. Nice car, just ruined by being driven by the wrong wheels, no turbo & ridiculous insurance cost considering how fast it is.

had one of these, gpx, mivec manual in black, loved it when i first had it but not in the same league as my type r for handling or performance, when i bought my impreza was offered £3500 for it, spotless exterior, £1000 stereo, tracker, sigma m30 alarm, climate control, less than average mileage, just had cambelt, brakes and tyres done too.

lovely looking in my opinion though, they also did a type r, only seen one, in white, big wing, big bucket seats, still none turbo.

About 6 years ago when FTO's started coming into the country,we did a conversion that involved fitting the Mitzy GTO TT full engine and running gear int an FTO.

Took us an age,but we did finally finish it for the customer.Never seen it since, although i heard it was in Saddleworth about 18 months ago.

It was hugely quick, but understeered when pushed hard..All good fun..

Quality motor tho..
