Quick question about Mercedes C230 Kompressors
Forgive my stupidity, but Kompressor means its super charged doesnt it?
Would a C230 Kompressor have better performance than a C280?

A few folk have said that the kompressor engine is very harsh / coarse. Think you would be better off with the smooth 6 cylinder 280 myself, thats what Merc are better at.

Both around the 190bhp mark IIRC, the C230 Kompressors are pretty rare really but good engines none the less. The C280 is juicier depending on how you use it as the C230 is still only a 4cyl motor, both are good for big miles and in that shape car you cant go wrong as they are pretty bomb proof.
