the really dissapointing part is that they are planning on putting in a 1600 engine albeit with a turbo. IMO this is a waste of time. Peugeot failed dismally with the 206 GTI and moreso the 180. If they go down the 1.6 route Renault will continue to beat them hands down on power/torque and ultimately sales. Peugeot need to do something different to stand out from the crowd if they are to beat Renault and going small engine and turbo is the wrong thing to do. So the 1.6 motor will have "in excess of 180bhp" but jeez will that little 1.6 be stressed to within an inch of its life. The 205 hit the spot with a huge torquey engine in a very light and compact body.
