Drove a NSX today but......
Wow what a machine. That V-tec noise behind your head is intoxicating. On top of that the steering weighted up well, there was torque and in every gear.....truly superb motorcar. In fact just using 3rd gear from 20mph all the way up to 105mph...just awesome. It was a R plate, silver metallic with 53k on the clock; £28k.
But......is it as good as a Porsche 996? What could I get for the similiar price?

www.pistonheads.com - go into the classifieds for 996, and 911 forum as well
28k will get you a 1998-1999 car, spec and mileage vary, but say ~60k miles, private
www.911virgin.com
i'd go for the nsx, i've only EVER seen 2 on the road!!! rare as...

I had a look at this car a few weeks back: http://www.ferrari-usedcars.co.uk/ve...T100NSX&comm=0
Very nice looking example, good bodywork and low miles (somwhere around 40K IIRC): £29990 on the sticker price which I think included the private plate
Was still there last weekend when I drove past.
