Give them a try, it might be true.

A young lad who I work with is after a Fiesta ST. Main dealer price approx £13k, he's found one off the net brand new for £10,400. So a ST3 for that price isn't so unbelievable. Just goes to show what mark up the main dealers put on.

Oh yes, the main dealer the lad went to tried to tell him that they had bought up all the UK stock of Fiesta ST's, so if he wants one, then he'll have to buy one off them. He actually believed them untill I put him right. Ah, when your young and nieve

The price is probably correct but a few things to bear in mind:

The car will registered to a fleet company and they will keep the V5 for upto 9 months.

Fleet companies can't place orders for the ST until Jan 2006 delivery around 9 - 12 weeks.

I'm thinking of placing an order with a company I used last year for a Mondeo ST Tdci with around 28% discount, I think the fleet company gets upto 30% off list but they must keep the car registered in their name for a minimum period hence why they keep hold of the V5.

Dealers get nothing like the discount fleet companies get unless they register the car as a demo and keep it for at least 3 months.

I'm going to wait until mid December to see what the best price is from all the internet companies.

Depreciation anyone ?

If they`re already selling them at this price, what`re they going to be worth in 12 months, or 3 years.

Not trying to tread on anyone`s toes that wants one, as I hope you get a good deal, and enjoy your new ST, but I`m just highlighting the fact that it`s not just the Scoob that drops quickly, and disproportionately, as some on here would have you believe....................

Sounds right Edward, Worth it though for such a massive saving on a already cheap motor.
