Peugeot 206 CC 1.6 or 2.0?

No offence but I'd say neither, find another car. These things look tired very quickly and I wouldn't trust the French build quality on those folding roofs.....Not to mention their re-sale value that drops quicker than Jordans knickers!
If you must, 2.0 with leather I'd say.

Owned one of these for 18 months in the 1.6 variety. I've had a fair few cars over the years but I've always been a bit sad about letting them go... with the exception of the 206 CC.
With regards to the motorway use it will hold speed no problem although it is very noisy, the cabin quality is very cheap (it was replaced with a mini cooper cabriolet and the cabin is like a different planet).
Handling was dull at best, rattled like a bag of nails, although ours was one of the very few which didn't leak it would appear!
Oh and if you have feet larger than size 6 forget it, the pedals are extremely close together.
I did try and find something positive to round up with but failed, sorry

Don't bother. Very heavy and uneconomic for what they are (no matter what engine size), due to clumsy gimmicky roof conversion. Electric roofs unreliable, badly built and the dealers are shocking! Check them out here www.peachorlemon.co.uk.

We also had one, I'd echo all of the above. Ours didn't leak (again quite unusual I think) but it rattled like nothing else on earth. Interior quality was atrocious, my local dealer is without doubt the worst I have ever dealt with, driving postion is very poor, driving dynamics again poor.
To give this some perspective, we also had a Mk2 V6 mondeo at the same time, given a choice I never drove the 206cc !!
Buy something else if you can
