Default Evo VI - normally twitchy?

I was at a track day at Knockhill and was following an Evo VI (or was it VII). I was surprised that I was managing to keep up with it, apart from out of the corners, in my mildly modded Octavia vRS. In particular, the Evo was *very* twitchy in the twisties (of which Knockhill has plenty). Is this normal?

If the track was dry I'd say it was not normal - even on very tight bends you can just nail it.

But in the wet and on stock bridgestones the Evo 6 can feel very skittish and disconnected with the road surface. And when it does start to break away it can need pretty fast reactions to catch it.

Gary.

i agree they can be a tad twitchy if you let them ,if you let them coast they dont handle as well as they can , the evo's 4-6 all like to be in the right gear pulling then they go around any corner the ayc kicks in ,they need to be scuff of the neck so to speak and it really does depend on tyre choice with them too ,choose badly and they feel like they are on ice
cheers
